East Anglia has a shortage of foster carers for children in care. Children in need of fostering are of different ages and backgrounds, but many have had difficult life experiences and need a stable home environment in which they can flourish
Children in care across Norfolk and Suffolk need to be able to stay close to their families and friends and to attend local schools, so it is vital that we increase the number of local foster carers.
AFA are actively seeking new and experienced foster carers to provide a home for children living in Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Stalham, Kings Lynn, Cromer, Lowestoft, Fakenham, Thetford and other towns and villages in the area.
People often want to foster children, but think that they will not be considered due to their circumstances. With this in mind, we’ve put together some frequent concerns and questions that you may think will prevent you fostering along with our answers to them, follow this link to find out more.
