Who we are

AFA Fostering also known as Anglia Fostering Agency is an independent fostering agency, formed and owned by three social work professionals who possess between them over 90 years social work and family placement management experience. Our mission statement that AFA aims to provide quality care with integrity and respect, underpins all we do.

Where we are

AFA Fostering works with carers across East Anglia and the East Midlands from their head office in Norwich (01603 861611), and now throughout South Wales from their office in Cardiff (02920 504123).

Our services

AFA exists to provide local, high quality foster care placements to children and young people in East Anglia, East Midlands & South Wales. The service has been specifically conceived, designed and developed in order to offer, what we believe, to be 'unequalled' locally based services to Local Authorities.

AFA is able to provide a wide range of placement options, from short term and emergency placements to long term placements and permanency.

What we need from carers

We would like to hear from both experienced and new foster carers from a wide variety of backgrounds, cultures, religions and social groups. We are particularly looking for carers for teenagers, sibling groups and parent and child placements.

What we give

We provide genuine 24 hour a day, 7 day a week support from experienced, dedicated and qualified staff.
