There are nearly 10,000 children in care across the West Midlands. AFA Fostering is now seeking to recruit new and experienced foster carers in the area to help address the major shortage of foster carers in the area.

Why foster with AFA?

AFA is a highly regarded and experienced independent fostering agency. We have a dedicated Midlands office covering the West Midlands region. Our foster carers in the West Midlands receive the same comprehensive support from our dedicated Midlands team that has made AFA’s reputation unrivalled in East Anglia.

Could you be a foster carer in the West Midlands?

Fostering is challenging but, with our support, it can also be one of the most rewarding things you can do. Providing stability, support and care in your home for a child who really needs it, and seeing that child grow and develop in your care, is enormously fulfilling.

Many children in care have had very difficult life experiences and desperately need a stable and supportive home environment in which they can feel safe and secure. Children in care need to be able to stay close to their families and friends and to attend local schools. It is vital that we increase the number of local foster carers in the West Midlands.

Where do we need foster carers in the West Midlands?

AFA are actively seeking new and experienced foster carers to provide a home for children living in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire, including Stafford, Tamworth, Leek, Lichfield, Uttoxeter, Burton-on-Trent and Cannock.

We are looking to recruit foster carers in Birmingham, Warwickshire and surrounding areas including Coventry, Rugby, Nuneaton and Bedworth, Leamington Spa, Warwick, Solihull, Walsall, Wolverhampton and Sandwell and Dudley.
